  1. Posted a video two weeks ago.
Received the 2nd set of kidney cards, will distribute them this week.

  2. GiftWorks has been a blessing for me. Because I worked hard along with my advocate team I’m please to share I’ve secured a donor with transplant surgery scheduled at UUH 5 June.

If not for GiftWorks I’d still be waiting on the national list to be called, hoping someday I’d get the call while doing the 3 days a week dialysis.

Thank you from my heart for accepting me in this wonderful program. And thanks for all the support from the GiftWorks team!!

The process of having an organ fail not only affects the individual it affects all of the people that love that individual. For the past five years our family was changed, Zach was diagnosed at the age of 24 with stage five kidney disease. The fear of the unknown came over our family. We heard about the Giftworks program and our fears changed to hope. The support within this community is so needed. We are thankful that our nephrologist told us about this program. Thank you Giftworks for welcoming our family into this great community.

As discussed in our last zoom chat. I really am trying to break out to do more videos. It a hard one for me. I feel that I’m doing better at trying for the ask.
Thank you for the organized structure to help me through this process.

  7. My progress and Gift Works has been great. I’ve had over hundreds of views with my website. I have over 13 advocates help me get the word out. I’ve been posting social media periodically. And using other avenues to try and get the word out whether it’s local businesses my job word of the mouth. I’m also working on a news story.

  8. We have a surgery date! June 12th. We kept experiencing more and more testing then our local hospital misplaced lab results and there was a lot of communication going back and forth. We are so happy that we can finally go on a vacation without worrying about scheduling dialysis or waiting for a transplant phone call. I’m grateful for Giftworks for helping us with this process.
