Text messages are a quick and easy way to inform others about your situation, and get them involved in helping spread the word about your story. Please read the instructions for the assignment below, and complete the task by October 1st.
Instructions
- Please use the sample text message and fill in the blanks with your own information.
- Send the text message to 20 people of your choosing. This will help you spread the word about your story, and keep your family and friend updated on your progress.
- Below, you will find an example text message script, but you will need to edit it to make it your OWN. This means that you should change the information to fit your OWN story, and should sound like you.
- Once you’ve sent your text message to at least 20 people, text the GiftWorks’ team to let us know you completed this assignment.
Text Message Tips
- Choose Your Words Carefully: Be clear and concise. Make sure your message is easy to understand.
- Check For Typos: Before hitting send, review your message for any spelling mistakes, autocorrect errors, or unclear phrasing.
- Take Your Time: Don’t rush when texting. Take a moment to gather your thoughts so that you can communicate effectively.
- Review Your Message Before Sending: Read over your text one more time to make sure your message says what you intend and has the right tone.
- Don’t Worry About Perfection: Don’t stress too much. It’s okay if it’s not perfect – the most important thing is to get your message across!
